About Me

I am a freelance photographer based in Minneapolis, MN, recently relocated from Washington, DC. I mainly keep myself occupied by shooting live music for the wire service Retna. In DC, I shot for the Washington Post and its Click Track blog, and the Washington City Paper and its Arts Desk blog. I've covered everything from obscure free jazz and avant-rock to U2 and Metallica and Britney Spears. I also do promo shots for bands, events (professional events, sports, weddings, etc), portraits for models and non-models, and the occasional random assignment that falls into my lap.

I have been published in the Washington Post, TIME.com, Washington City Paper, Washington Monthly, Chicago Reader, Guitar World, Revolver, Decibel, and many more newspapers, magazines and websites.
