About Me

I have been active in photography since my brother gave me his old Nikon FG in 2000 or so. My photographic interests were born through photojournalism as I documented the various global justice protests that occurred between 2000 and 2002 (against institutions like the World Bank, IMF, WTO and so on). They shifted to nature photography some years later and, more recently, expanded to include live music and abstracts. At this point, about the only thing I do not have any interest in is studio photography — I believe my talents lie in finding good photographs, rather than creating them out of controlled environments.

As I write this in 2008, I am shooting more and more concerts for my music review website, Ground and Sky. Aside from this, I'm still working on narrowing down my variety of photographic interests and figuring out in which one or two areas I can be the most creative and original.
