Bill Landenberger is a dedicated lecturer in Geology at The University of Newcastle for the past 30 years. Bill’s journey into panoramic photography was fueled by a desire to enhance virtual field trips, but his passion has expanded into capturing the realms of architecture, botany, history, and natural heritage.

Throughout the month of August, Bill shared 28 panoramas, each offering a unique perspective on the diverse landscapes he explores. Bill uses as his photography equipment Pentax DSLRs, including the K-70, K-3 Mark iii, and K-1 Mark ii, paired with specialized lenses. For infrared panoramas, he employs the SMC Pentax-DA 12-24mm F4 ED AL [IF] with a Hoya R72 filter. As of August 2023, he has been using the film-era prime SMC Pentax-A 16mm F2.8 Fish-Eye with the K1 Mark ii. He shoots in RAW format, processing imagery in ACR and stitching panoramas using PTGui Pro.

Bill Landenberger became a valued member of the 360Cities community on May 18, 2017, and has since shared 119 panoramas. His recent panoramas, with titles such as “Richmond Vale,” “Stockrington Stock Bridge,” and “Bingie Bingie Point,” among others invite us to explore the world.
